The mmWave-UPM Lab is a state-of-the-art 5G research facility specializing in FR2 over-the-air (OTA) testing, fully compliant with 3GPP conformance standards.
This unique UPM facility provides comprehensive OTA testing in accordance with 3GPP TS 38.521, covering both uplink and downlink directions: transmit power, power dynamics, signal quality, RF spectrum, Rx sensitivity, and adjacent channel selectivity, across a wide temperature range from –40 to 85 °C.
The mmWave-UPM Lab enables precise validation of next-generation user equipment under real-world and thermal stress conditions.
Indirect Far Field Anechoic Chamber for mmWave Over-the-Air (OTA) measurements.

• Ensures proper SNR and dynamic range for TRP/EIRP testing

• Stability: ±1 °C; programmable thermal cycling
• Provides hot/cold airflow directly into the DUT chamber
• Temperature resolution: 0.1ºC
The mmWave-UPM Lab is equipped to perform comprehensive 5G FR2 device testing across both unlicensed and licensed frequency bands, including the 24 GHz band and the n258 (26 GHz), n257 (28 GHz), n260 (39 GHz), n259 (41 GHz) bands. This capability enables end-to-end evaluation of next-generation user equipment under realistic operating conditions.
In Standalone mode, the mmWave-UPM Laboratory operates a complete 5G New Radio (NR) system
